The curriculum map linked below outlines how we have sequenced our Mathematics Curriculum to enable Maidstonians to build their knowledge and skills towards clear end points.

Key Stage 3: Years 7-8
Over a fortnightly timetable, KS3 mathematicians receive:
- 5 hours of guided classroom learning.
- 1 hour of homework
Key Stage 4: Years 9-11
Qualification: GCSE Mathematics
Exam board: EDEXCEL
Over a fortnightly timetable, GCSE mathematicians receive:
- 7 hours of guided classroom learning.
- 2 hours of homework.
Key Stage 5: Years 12-13
Qualification: A Level Mathematics
Exam board: EDEXCEL
Over a fortnightly timetable, A Level mathematicians receive:
- 8 hours of guided classroom learning.
- 10 hours of homework.
