COVID 19 and Virtual Learning

Below are two key documents that we will continually update during the pandemic: the MGS 'Statement on Virtual Learning Provision' and the 'Expenditure of the Covid 19 Catch Up' funds.

January 2021 - Remote Education Provision: Information for Parents

This information is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils and parents or carers about what to expect from remote education where national or local restrictions require entire
cohorts (or bubbles) to remain at home....
For details of what to expect where individual pupils are self-isolating, please see the document below.

Statement on MGS Remote Learning

The coronavirus (COVID 19) catch up premium is calculated on a per pupil basis and will provide...

Maidstone Grammar School with a total of £80 additional funding per pupil in Year 7 through to 11 for one year. This equates to £83600 paid in instalments across the school year. Our intention is to use the funds to support all students to bridge the gap that has been created during lockdown, as well as use specifically directed finds to target students who need additional support. This is an allocation of funds that we continually reflect and review, always striving to find the best support for Maidstonians during these difficult times...
