History is a popular subject in the school and the department gains very impressive results; in the last 8 years over 72% of our students have achieved A*-B grades at A-Level, with 8% of our students achieving the prestigious A* qualification compared to 5% nationally. Many of our students go on to study History and related subjects at university.
