BBC Schools Report 2013

On Thursday 21 March 2013 all of the Year 7 cohort at Maidstone Grammar School will take part in BBC School Report. Over the course of the day, the students will take on the role of reporters to gather, investigate and broadcast the news. This will culminate in a live broadcast, at 3pm, which will be available on this website and the BBC.

In addition the boys have been working hard to prepare a variety of other features including : a “Desert Island Discs” programme with members of staff; participating in a live “Question Time” debate show ; interviews with famous figures from the world of sport, literature and showbiz ; the publication of an MGS newspaper by each form group ; and an interview with the new Headmaster.

Thanks must go to all the boys for their enthusiasm and commitment to the project and also to the staff, who work tirelessly to ensure that the boys get an enjoyable and educational experience.
