AEN Manager

Mrs A Lawrence

Responsible for:

  • Managing the AEN Department and Teaching Assistants. She reports to the Deputy Head (SENCO)
  • Monitoring of pupils with a Statement of SEN through Annual Reviews and Individual Education Plans
  • Liaising with external agencies such as the Education Psychology Service or the Specialist Teaching Service to seek support for students as required
  • Creating and monitoring of Provision Maps as required
  • Liaising with parents regarding AEN matters
  • Working on transition for vulnerable students

Teaching Assistants

Mrs A Allsop, Mrs M Barker, Mrs G Clark, Mrs T Mills, Mrs L Warnett

Responsible for:

  • Providing classroom support for individual students with a Statement of SEN or those students who have been identified as needing classroom support.
  • Providing general classroom support for small groups of students within a class, directed by the class teacher

KAT have been providing high quality services for people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and their families since 1989. We offer individual, tailor made, person centered, solutions of support for adults through our living and day vocational and life skill services.
